Dr Hazel Connery,

Dr Hazel Connery is one of our most experienced Clinical Psychologists. She has approximately twenty-five years of experience working within the psychology sector in the NHS and has been working in the NHS as a qualified psychologist for twenty years. Dr Connery provides one to one therapy with clients and she can also offer remote sessions for example, via Skype. She has experience working with adults with mild to moderate mental health difficulties, including anxiety disorders, abuse, difficulties associated with ADHD, depression, and PTSD. In addition, she is experienced working therapeutically with adults with mental health difficulties associated with neurological conditions, memory difficulties, chronic pain and other issues associated with ageing.
Dr Connery is also a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society which means that she meets the society ‘gold standard’ of psychological knowledge and expertise and adheres to high levels of ethical practice and shows a commitment to continuing professional development. Dr Connery uses Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and may integrate aspects of either approach with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Dr Connery can offer appointments on Monday evenings online and on Thursday in person at our Stirling clinic for adult clients.
