Therapy for Children & Teenagers
Children and young people can sometimes experience worries, emotions or difficult behaviour which can get in the way of everyday life, or even take over. Our experienced Clinical Psychologists can assess these difficulties and work to overcome these using evidence-based psychological therapy. We can help with a wide range of problems that children and young people may struggle with and also work collaboratively with parents to achieve the best outcomes for their children. Behaviour such as tantrums in toddlers or difficulties with friendships in teenagers is a normal part of childhood. However, getting help early with problems which are particularly distressing for them, interfere with school life or attainment or with wider family functioning can result in improved, faster outcomes, happier children who can reach their full potential with a positive impact on the whole family. We work with children aged 5 and above.
