We are a team of Clinical Psychologists offering private assessment and therapy for mental health difficulties to adults, young people and children.

Psychological Therapy Scotland (PTS) offers individual therapy appointments face to face in Stirling and Perth as well as offering online appointments via Zoom/videoconference. You can find out more about what a Clinical Psychologist is and how we differ to other therapists

Choosing which therapy is most appropriate for you and most likley to be effective can be difficult, especially if you aren’t sure what is available ro what these therapies are. Sometimes our clients have a good idea what therapy they would like before we meet them but often people just know they want ‘help’. Choosing a therapy should be a joint-decision with your therapist. Your therapist can use their professional experience and training along with UK best practice guidlines to create a treatment plan with you. Sometimes this might involve working with just one type of therapy but it can also involve working with several therapies or aspects of different therapies in an ‘integrative’ way as your treatment should be individually tailored to you as a unique person so that it is most likley to be effective.

We can provide treatments for complex difficulties, people who are experiencing multiple difficulties at once or those whose who difficulties have been unresponsive to previous therapies.

Our Stirling clinic is staffed by a number of clinicians currently  providing sessions for adults and children and we currently have one psychologist covering our Perth clinic.

PTS can also provide clinical supervision services for other psychological therapists.

Crisis Support:

If you feel that you need immediate, urgent support please contact your GP or visit your nearest A and E department. You may also find it helpful to contact one of the organisations listed below. Unfortunately PTS cannot offer crisis support.
